About Us

The Prince George’s Volunteer Coordinator’s Association (PGVCA) is a professional organization formed by the Prince George’s County Volunteer Center in 1984 to support the professional growth and development of volunteer managers throughout Prince George’s County, Maryland.

The PGVCA provides an opportunity for people working with volunteers to share issues and ideas regarding volunteerism and volunteer administration at the local, state, ad national levels.

PGVCA Goals:

To offer a network of support to people coordinating volunteer programs.
To provide opportunities for the continued development of professional skills through workshops and training.
To foster the exchange of ideas, problems, successes, and important issues.
To promote volunteerism in Prince George’s County, Maryland.
To serve in partnership with the Prince George’s Volunteer Center.

The PGVCA is made of of member organizations whom are elected to leadership positions.
